Compassion: An Evening of Friendly Conversation

  • 535 Durham Road Newtown, PA, 18940 United States (map)

Compassion: Is it the most important theme in Jesus' teachings? How do we understand 'compassion' - is it empathy, or something more active? What is the spiritual power in being compassionate?  To launch the conversation we will start with a short video 'If the Church Were Christian’ (https://quakerspeak.com/if-the-church-were-christian/)

Wrightstown Meeting’s monthly discussion series, entitled Conversations for Confusing Times, addresses a wide variety of topics, including lifestyle choices, ethical concerns, and family issues. Each participant is invited to share his or her own point of view on the issue of the month.

Light refreshments will be served.

Doors open at 6:00 PM; Program is 6:30-8:00 PM. Questions? Email jcogs@mindspring.com
