Postcard Writing in Support of Immigrant Children

Many at our Meeting and in our community have expressed concern and outrage at the despicable treatment of immigrant children at border detention centers. In an effort to raise awareness among our federal legislators, there is a postcard campaign designed to flood Representative Fitzpatrick's and Senator Toomey's offices with messages of concern for immigrant children.

At the rise of Meeting, we will gather in the Social Hall to sign and write messages on postcards. In addition, Jenny Isaacs of Doylestown Meeting will join us to describe the work of Immigrant Rights Action, a Quaker-led, all volunteer group which advocates for immigrant rights.

Please plan to attend this important event. Bring your neighbors as well!
