Our Event was Magical

We were on the grass behind the main parking area, we were torch-lit and we had a pop-up tent as the “stage”; we didn’t have stars but it didn’t rain and we had some cool breezes to calm us down after the heat of the day. The music and poetry was wonderful; a new poet joined us: Sidney, who teaches in N. Phila. (and who came to our Meeting for Worship the following day). A new musical act was a spectacular surprise: Dan Gober, who has a website with his music.

We paid tribute to Nils Falk, a member of our meeting who played at the first coffeehouse in May and who died suddenly in June.

Join us for an outside concert of music with some poetry thrown in. We’ll regroup in the social hall in the event of rain. We will have an intermission to allow some socializing. Since we’re hoping to be outside, bring a blanket and/or some chairs to relax on the grass.

We are looking for folks to perform, musically or poetically, or just to attend with or without children to enjoy good music, reading and community! Please contact jcogs@mindspring.com by July 12th if you wish to perform.
